About Our Partner
Our client is a lighting and energy solutions company specializing in LED projects for businesses. With a focus on delivering cost savings and energy-efficient solutions, they partnered with Abstrakt Marketing Group in February 2020 to build a stronger sales pipeline and expand their market reach.
Client’s Challenges
Like many organizations, this LED company faced uncertainty when COVID-19 struck. After implementing their program in March 2020, they quickly decided to pause outbound activity for 60 days to protect resources during the pandemic.
The pause created two challenges:
They lost valuable momentum in building their sales pipeline.
Economic conditions made them hesitant to restart appointment setting, despite the need for new opportunities.
While outbound efforts were paused, they continued receiving marketing collateral from Abstrakt—a factor that later influenced their decision to un-pause and resume growth efforts.
Our Solution
In June 2020, the company reactivated their appointment setting program with Abstrakt. The strategy combined:
Consistent outbound activity – cold calling and emailing high-quality prospects to generate conversations.
Lead nurturing – focusing on relationship-building with decision-makers to uncover opportunities.
Marketing collateral support – brochures, sell sheets, and other branded assets that enhanced credibility and confidence in sales conversations.
This dual approach—pipeline development paired with strong marketing materials—ensured they had both the leads and the tools to convert them.
The Excellent Results
In just 2.5 months of resumed activity, the LED company saw measurable success:
Closed Deal: A $36,000 LED project with a car dealership to install exterior lighting in their parking lot, with potential for future interior projects.
Five Proposals Out: Multiple opportunities in motion, including one the client described as a “sure thing.”
Improved Sales Collateral: The client praised Abstrakt’s marketing team for creating impactful assets that directly influenced their decision to continue activity.
This success story underscores a key lesson: even in times of uncertainty, consistent outbound efforts and strong sales materials create opportunities. For this LED client, teamwork between outbound and marketing made all the difference.
