Abstrakt Takes On the Social Madness Challenge

You may or may not have heard us talking about the Social Madness Challenge on Facebook and Twitter last week, which officially kicked off on Friday, June 1st. Abstrakt Marketing Group, along with thousands of companies around the country, are fighting to win their way into the next round of the contest. The overall goal of the competition is to determine which companies have the most significant social media presence and the St. Louis market is taking this pretty seriously.

Participating companies fall into three categories – small, medium or large companies. According to the St. Louis Business Journal, “The competition measures the growth of a company’s social presence on the Social Madness website, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook via a unique algorithm. Participants are encouraged to reach out to clients, partners, vendors, friends and family members to “follow” or “like” them across their company’s social media platforms.”

Our fans and followers “like” us on our social media platforms for a number of reasons already: to benefit charity, because we’re awesome, because they want to look at our photos…the list goes on and on. As you have already read, there are plenty of reasons to give us vote, so why not for this challenge, too?
