Yesterday Pinterest announced their latest feature, web analytics for your account. Now you have the ability to see your traffic breakdown by most-repinned posts, clicks and visitors. For businesses, these changes are extremely welcomed as most of us have been waiting for the site to offer some form of analytics or insight. We want to know what pins work and what don’t and what drives the most traffic. Now that we can see which posts are popular, we can adjust our strategy accordingly.
What do you have to do to have access to your own analytics? Have a verified account – that’s it. It’s pretty simple. Once you have a verified account, you’ll have the option to click on the analytics section on your menu bar. So login to Pinterest and look around at the changes – they’re fairly enlightening.
