Monday Madness: Monitoring the Mars Rover Curiosity

It’s not every day that we get to blog about TwitPics from Mars, so we figured we couldn’t pass this opportunity up. This morning Twitter and NASA were still rejoicing as the Mars Rover Curiosity landed on the Red Planet.

Daily posts takeover Twitter composed of everything from business articles to stock quotes to motivational quotes, so why wouldn’t NASA post photos of their explorations? It only makes sense!

The Curiosity account tweeted the journey to the landing – including the first photos of the landing via the Curiosity itself. The world is changing, that’s for sure, and we are more than excited that social media is lending such a helping hand. From the Olympics to this landing on Mars, what is the next “big” step social media will play a part in as it relates to World history?
