Unfortunately with the craziness that comes with a new year, we have not yet had the opportunity to film a Marketing Minute this week. But don’t worry, we’ve come up with something as equally as awesome (almost). I think it’s safe to say that QR codes aren’t at all what they were originally cracked up to be. You have to have a scanner downloaded to read them, it’s an extra step in your regular smartphone activity process and on average, if you’re a business that uses them, your customers hate you for it. Of course, as customers, we will go through the extra annoying steps to discover what’s on the other side of the QR code – but we don’t like it.
